The buyer of the mystery auction was promised untold riches in the form of a cashiers check worth hundreds of thousands. The buyer received their check alright, the trouble was the seller didn’t quite let him know some important things about it.

First of all let me say this, I’m not in anyway going to run a scam on anyone by offering junk in a box. My eBay reputation and integrity means a lot more to me, than any junk or scam. It looks like they were telling the truth judging by the winners response.

This auction received over 10,000 hits and sold to the eBay bidder, godaddy85. The bidder & the seller are no longer registered eBay users so my guess is that something went on that eBay didn’t approve of, however the owner of the auction has given us the details as to the contents.

An eBayer recently purchased two seperate mystery items from two seperate sellers. One was a mystery paycheck and the second was a mystery box supposedly worth over $50,000. The buyer is not pleased at all with what they received and is currently talking to eBay fraud.
