Kids Raising Money For Mom

We are three kids from Kentucky trying to raise money for our Mom. We know that she is struggling and she is on disability. There’s not anything she can do to make it better. All the bills are late and we don’t get enough to pay all of them. We are now about to lose what we have.

i’m confused….. in the view other items for sale listing, this is the same seller who is selling herself “the 31 yr old voluptous woman” and she doesn’t mention being on any disablity there…nor do her kids mention that their parents just went through a divorce…hrm… any other thoughts?

To me, they’re young, none of them are able to support themselves, they can’t work legally….I feel for them, but I don’t agree with the ebegging. They’re cute kids too.

first of all, “mallory”, i’m almost positive that not everyone on here is old enough to live on their own, in fact, i’d be willing to bet a majority of the people who post on this website are teenagers. Second of all, look at you all high and mighty. You are doing the same thing you are accusing others of doing…calling names and being closed minded. While it may be true that these kids (were) just trying to make a couple extra bills for mom, it could have also been that they were nothing but scammers. May i be so bold as to ask if YOU made any bids/donations on this auction? Probably not.
So if you’re going to run your mouth, put a little more thought into what you’re saying and why. Now, as i firmly believe in intellectual osmosis, i’m going to cut this conversation short.

If you were all so narrow minded as to bid for every kid that begs for money on ebay then be my guest.i personally give a pecentage of my wage to an affiliated charity and that doesnt make me a saint but in my eyes it balances out all the sh** i give out. I agree with mallory and stephanie, plus I’m insulted by both. I watched my mother serve me the last box of mac and cheese and not eat because she had a choice to make. I try to give and help when ever I can so others don’t have to go through that. However most people in this world are not nice honest people. I also think we should all be civil and stop insulting people for their opinions…

Let’s see, i’m sitting on my “lazy a$$” was it? yes, i suppose i am, what with working, going to school, and saving for my wedding. let’s see, what else did i miss here..hmmm, oh yes, the midol comment. No, i dont need midol, most of you just need to stop following the damn crowd. Now, in situations, such as “amberrose”, when the mother does put herself after her children, it is truely truely sad. Now granted, i have been fortunate in the fact that i came from a well to do family, and never had to see poverty, but, my heart breaks for those who do. However, this auction seemed less to do about poverty, and more to do about scaming people out of money. lest we forget that this seller also auctioned off her own services? (and also said auction was also pulled by ebay). For those who ARE truely in need of money, then by all means, throw your spare change in their proverbial cups, however, when people play on emotions, and try to scam for a new big screen TV or xbox 360 or whatever selfish whim they disire this week, shame shame.

Well, I didnt read what the auction read before it got pulled. And it is really sad that we can not trust anyone for what they say. I know I’m always worried about scammers, and my heart does go out to those in need. I personally know that @ 14 years old you can get a job @ McDonalds. (I did.) Or maybe they could babysit? I also came from a family who had to struggle all my life. But there are ways out there to get help-ie:Churches or the government (foodstamps, kids connection, aid to dependant children, medicade) I know it’s not ideal to ask for help from places like that, but in my eyes neither is ebegging?!?

i was mearly making a point in the other forum, however, aye, i agree, that a discussion should be kept in one or the other. however, i’ve made all the points that i can. Jessica from orange texes, you sound like the biggest piece of red neck white trash that i have ever had the misfortune of meeting, and no i’m not “scared” of you, rather i pitty you.

And yes, my original point was that more then likely these children were pulling a HUGE scam, however, with the group mentallity that came about here, my second point is that people are, on the whole, sheep. Ummm..Stephanie, if you are going to correct people, perhaps you should use spell check yourself. First of all I is always in caps, not i which you seem so fond of. 2nd your latest post has numerous spelling errors, for example,
1. It’s Orange Texas, not orange texes
2. menatality has one “L” not 2
3. on this bored, should be on this board
4. semblance, not sembalence
5. grade school = 2 words, not one
6. you spelled mentality wrong twice
