  1. That is actually pretty cool. You could have some fun parties or hide and seek down there.

  2. Someone could buy this and the M19 tank that is for sale and a little piece of land. Then they could start their own country and have a leg up on defense.Cool auction though.

  3. I saw another underground base for sale about a year ago much bigger than this.
A good idea would be apartments.
People want to live in old warehouses why not say a missle silo

  4. Oh man all I could think of when I looked at this is the movie The Hole. Horrible horrible movie, absolutely not for the weak of heart. I used to think old underground things were really awesome until I saw that movie.

  5. I wanted to bid until I saw the condition. For an underground super structure that hasnt been used in 30 years you would think it wouldnt look like a missle went off under there.

If it was properly built as a nuclear fallout shelter you think it should look like the day it was closed.

  7. The auction said it had been built to withstand nuclear attack. But as for the safety of it after thirty years of neglect. Who knows?????

  8. Anonymous probably thought it was a nuclear fallout shelter because they read: “This Atlas-F missile system is an underground nuclear missile base.”

  9. If you bought this and went to putting it up then your neighbors might start moving.
