My dad had one of these, a 56 I think, it was a cool car. He sold it in 90 and got a pretty penny for it.

It is just the banner that has been used since day one of this sites inception. There is really no special significance. The banner may be changed in time when I find something else that would look good on here.

Slightly off-topic, but still vehicle related… What, if any, is the significance of the burning VW bus in the BizarreBids banner? - Just curious.

It is bizarre in the sense that it is a vehicle that is very hard to find these days. What you find bizarre might not be what another finds bizarre. It is also kind of funny since these vehicles were extremely good on gasoline usage and with the high prices of gas these days I found it quite appropriate to put it on BB.
